Sail in Asia Training is the only sea school in SE Asia that is licensed and audited by IYT Worldwide to offer MCA and USCG endorsed courses for STCW 95 - Basic Safety Training for Commercial Seafarers.

Sail in Asia Training is the only IYT Sea School in Asia with UK qualified Sea Survival and Fire Fighting Instructors authorised to teach the STCW95 course. This means you get a quality course taught by native English speaking instructors who have a wealth of experience dealing with emergencies.

Our STCW 95 courses are taught in Phuket in at our sea base at Ao Yon on Cape Panwa and at our purpose built shorebase training centre in Ban Prangthong near Central Phuket. Our course dates are on line and you can enquire about a course by contacting us. Our booking form needs to be completed, scanned and emailed back to us. The STCW 95 course costs are $1095 at present and we suggest you book early to avoid disappointment (as we usually close our course at 12 persons).

Our students train to go to work on superyachts and we offer a range of courses for superyacht crew that will help them to get jobs in the industry. Our students doing MOY 200 ton courses also need STCW 95 training to progress.

We offer students doing STCW95 courses, accommodation at our sea base location, (right on the beach) and also luxury accommodation at our shore base.
